Virgin Atlantic extend routing in 2007 to Nairobi

Sir Richard Branson, Chairman of Virgin Atlantic, commented:

“I am delighted that we are able to launch another new route in 2007, enabling us to offer passengers with more choice and a larger route network. Nairobi is Virgin Atlantic’s fourth service to the African continent and it is expanding at a vast rate. Passenger numbers have doubled over the past five years and we predict its popularity will continue to grow in the years to come."

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Kenya Tourist Board for helping Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays to achieve its goal of starting operations to Nairobi and we look forward to working with them closely in the next few years to promote travel to the region.”

The flights from Heathrow will depart at 19:15 and will arrive in Nairobi the following day at 06:05. Return flights from Nairobi depart at 08:20 from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and will arrive at 14:55 into London Heathrow Airport.
