The drive-by tour gives you the chance to see some of Nairobi's more interesting landmarks such as the legendary City Market, the Parliament buildings and Mausoleum of Kenya's first president, Jomo Kenyatta.
Some time is spent at the renovated Nairobi National Museum, where there are interesting and varied displays of early man, tribal regalia, and flora and fauna of Kenya. The tour also includes a visit to the adjacent Snake Park which has impressive examples of some of the region's more interesting reptile species,including cobras, vipers, adders and pythons, and the 3 mamba species. There is also a small aquarium, with both marine and freshwater animals on exhibit. Pickup from your Nairobi hotel and thereafter drop off at your hotel or airport.

B) NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK - 3 HOURS:

Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel and drive 6 kms from the city centre to the Nairobi National Park, which is one of Kenya's original national parks established in 1946. It features 46 square miles of pristine savannah and yet remains close to the city. Large populations of Giraffe, Wildbeest, Eland and Gazelle dominate the plains. Prides of Lions appear at the entrance of Mbagathi Gorge - by the Athi River to the South with its Hippo pools. Thereafter drop off at your city hotel.

C) KAREN BLIXEN/ GIRRAFE CENTRE - 3 HOURS:

Pick-up from your hotel and drive towards the Ngong Hills, through small villages along the way to the Karen Blixen Museum ("Out of Africa"**)- the house which, for many years was her home. Later proceed to the Giraffe Centre where the offspring of Daisy (the famous Rothschild Giraffe) can be seen and feed this beautiful home overlooking the Ngong Hills. Thereafter drop off at your hotel.

D) CARNIVORE EXPERIENCE:

Pick-up from your Nairobi and set off on an eating adventure at the famous Brazilian styled Carnivore Restaurant. A sizzling BBQ with a great variety of meats, greets you upon arrival (vegetation dishes are also available). Thereafter you can dance the night away at the Simba Salon at the same venue. For visitors to Kenya a visit to the Carnivore Restaurant lunch or dinner is a must. Departures daily at 1230hrs and 1900hrs. After lunch or dinner return return back to your hotel.

E) LAKE NAKURU EXPRESS:

Lake Nakuru lies in the volcano-strewn Rift Valley, one of the chains of 8 lakes which stretch the length of Kenya from Tanzania to Ethiopia. The 160 km drive from Nairobi passes through the highland farms of the Kikuyu people before descending the escarpment into the dramatic landscape of the Great Rift Valley. The first stop is the Lake Nakuru, where is to be found the most awesome bird spectacle in the world - millions of great and lesser flamingoes which transform the shores of the lake into a breathtaking 'carpet'. Lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge, thereafter a game drive around the lake and the protected park which has a sanctuary for endangered animal species such as the Black and White Rhino and Rothschild Giraffe among others. A brief stopover for afternoon tea served in the scenic and lush grounds of the Lake Naivasha Country Club. Thereafter continue back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
